HyreLift operates hyreliftly.com for people across Australia who want home-based work. We post openings, receive applications and put applicants in touch with the business that listed each opening. That business is the employer; HyreLift is the go-between. This page describes every piece of personal information we handle and what happens to it, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Applications come in through a form hosted by WhatsForm at whatsform.com/rpIxWP, shown on our homepage and in the pop-up that opens from each Apply button. The form is called "Australia Jobs Application". It has seven fields:
That is the complete list. No extra information is gathered in the background while you type.
Like any website, ours creates routine records when a page loads: IP address, browser and device type, the address of the page, the referring page and a time stamp. Our hosting provider uses these to deliver the site and keep it secure. They are not linked to applications.
Please never send us passwords, SMS or app verification codes, bank logins, BSB or account numbers, card details, a tax file number, or images of your licence or passport. We do not ask for them and we delete them if they arrive. A message that asks for them in HyreLift's name did not come from us.
Our HR team reads your application, gets back to you on WhatsApp and, if you want to go ahead, passes your details to the business behind the opening you picked. Your email address is kept as a backup contact in case WhatsApp messages do not get through. We also keep a brief record of what was sent and when, so we can answer questions about it later.
We do not sell them. We do not lend them out, trade them or add them to anyone's marketing list, and we will not send you promotions. If a different business asks to consider you, we ask you first and only share your application if you say yes.
The employer for the opening you chose receives your application, together with a clear note that HyreLift made the introduction and the employer does the hiring. Otherwise, only the service providers below process your information.
Each provider applies its own terms and privacy policy.
The WhatsForm widget on our pages loads Google Analytics under measurement ID G-FPBMRSMXE8. It reports page views, broad location, device type, and whether the form was opened and sent. Names, email addresses and phone numbers are not sent into Google Analytics, and we do not run remarketing audiences or Customer Match. Blocking analytics cookies in your browser does not stop you applying.
The form is only half of an application. After you send it, WhatsApp opens with a ready-written message to our HR team. Nothing is sent from WhatsApp until you tap Send, and you can edit the words beforehand. Your form answers are with WhatsForm from the moment you submit, whatever you decide next.
Google Analytics, through the widget, sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. Our host may set a small security cookie to separate people from bots, and the form may use its own cookie to work. You can switch cookies off in your browser settings.
Our providers run data centres in several countries, including the United States, so your information may be handled outside Australia. That processing happens under the contractual and security commitments each provider gives its customers. We take reasonable steps under the Australian Privacy Principles before any cross-border disclosure.
We keep an application for twelve months after your last contact with us and then delete it. Server logs are kept for no longer than thirty days, and backups are overwritten within a further thirty days.
All pages use HTTPS, and only the staff who handle applications can open them, each through a personal login. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will act quickly to contain it and notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
After an introduction the employer keeps its own copy of your application under its own policy. Your WhatsApp conversation is stored by Meta and on your phone. Removing our record does not remove those.
Email careers@hyreliftly.com to see what we hold about you, fix it, or have it deleted, or to withdraw your application. We reply within thirty days. An introduction that has already taken place cannot be undone, but we will tell the employer you have withdrawn.
Software does not screen or rank applicants. People read every application, and the employer makes its own decision.
The service is meant for people aged eighteen and over. Any application we find from someone younger is deleted.
Send your complaint to careers@hyreliftly.com with the details. We will look into it and reply in writing, and if you are not satisfied, a second person will review it.
Everything we hold about you comes from you: the form you fill in, the WhatsApp messages you send and any email you write to us. We do not buy contact lists, use data brokers or look people up on social media.
If your phone number, email address or city changes, message us and we will update the record. Accurate details mean we can reach you and do not introduce you for something that no longer suits you.
Our pages link to WhatsApp and, occasionally, other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.
New providers or changes in how we use information appear here before they take effect, and the date at the top is changed to match.
